It's a little unfair to say a single game raised my overall standards in gaming, mainly because there is such a wide variety of different things that different games try to achieve. For instance, it would seem silly to apply my experiences in The Last Of Us to how I percieve platforming games wouldn't it?
However with this taken into account, I can EASILY say that it raised my standards for games in the same genre as The Last Of Us (Survival Horror/Action Adventure).
