But seriously ... QTEs are not always a bad gameplay element when used correctly. They did not damage the experience that the above games provided. Ryse looks kind of meh to be honest (and I say this as someone that wil probably pick it up and check it out anyways). Let's not dismiss it before we even see ore of what it has to offer.


An real QTE game depends on the quality of the storyline and its ability to make you care about changing the course of its story with your decisions. An Action game that depends on QTE is a rip off just for flash and flair, which could already be applied via the control scheme. If the game was more interesting it could probably pass but for some reason it seems like they are just tugging you along.
