It isn't QTE heavy. They've said the E3 build was just to show off executions that are available with the game. I'm also glad it isn't a Kinect title though I do want to see how a Core Kinect title will go with the upgraded Kinect that ships with the X1.

The Kinect for the core campaign was a failure. Ryse was the very game that MS paid Crytek  to prove Kinect could be used to make a core game. It failed though, so its now a full game again instead of a Kinect title. The new Kinect is more powerful, doesn't mean its capable of capable of depth tracking for a core title. Its stuck at the same dead end the Eyetoy was at last gen on the PS2. Microsoft would need something similar to the Move to make it work and Sony has already proven that motion controls can be used to create in depth core titles and they've used them on Killzone as well. Their problem is that their development process sucks for the PSP and Move.

It's capable... Have you not watched someof the videos posted?

This isn't about Sony, Eyetoy, Move or any other thing Sony related. Why do you feel the need to bring them up... All the time?

That video has proven absolutely nothing outside of my point that Kinect cannot achieve true depth. They can make it see the moon for all I care, it cannot move around the moon nor properly steer without rails unless you're playing a game with simple 3D depth or 2D alignment. The reason I brought up Sony is because they've achieved the end needed to make camera based motion controlled games achieve the depth of core titles. This Kinect is just a more powerful version of the second, but it will essentially do the same things, thats all.

IE: If you paid attention to the video, you can surmise that in the next Dance Central you will have better accuracy of your movement and freestyle dancing that was previously not able to be done. Thats about a good as it will get. Ryse was a failure on the Kinect and "Better with Kinect" campaigns will continue, but "Kinect for the Core "is a failure.
