I was actually really looking forward to Titan Fall until I heard they weren't including a campaign.  That could have been awesome, but nope, Call of Duty as ruined the genre.  Now it's just the same game ad nauseum with new maps.

I'm not giving up on the FPS genre, but it'll take a lot to convince me to get back into it.  RPG elements, a solid campaign, and maybe some originality are all nice.  This is why Borderlands 2 was so awesome.  It was unique and original WITHOUT needing mechs.

FPS is one of the most diversified and rich genre. Just because Titanfall is doing something different it's not a bad thing.

It will still have a story but not in a conventional way. The Division is the same thing but only TPS.

I don't like Borderland series, if all the game was like it, I wouldn't play FPS.

The FPS genre is NOT one of the most diversified or rich genres.  Just becuase there are a lot doesn't mean there's depth.  How many modern warfare oriented games ahve their been?  How many Sci Fi alien games?  how many World War 2 games.  There's not a lot of depth, and adding something like mechs only slightly alters the gameplay.  Frankly, the shit you could do in Borderlands was far more innovative and creative.

And please do explain how it will have a story.  It might have a backstory, but multiplayer-only games don't really tend to have a cohesive narrative.
