It hurts MS case that its on any other platform. Ever heard the case that if one owns a Sony platform with a PC they woulc overlook the Xbox as an option unless they are a Halo or Gears fan? It hurt MS just like when they were dumb enough to allow Halo to be on PC. It also hurts that I recently finished playing Alan Wake for $4. Says so much for all they paid to hold back from the rest of us. Quantum Break will more likely follow suit.

The way I see it, the customer wouldn't buy on Xbox anyway, so a PC purchase just means one less PS4 copy. So when the X1 and PS4 game sales are compared, the results will be very telling.

So what you are saying is that PS gamers need a gaming PC or else it can't stand up to X1 on its own? Cause thats what your telling me. I find it more rare and rare to find a PS gamer only using PS consoles when making a counter to X1 nowadays.

Of course Playstation can stand up to the Xbox on its own, its called first party. Everyone says third party exclusives keep dwindling but as long as MS is in the gaming industry third party exclusives will continue to run rampant, especially at the beginning of the gen. These are the same tactics they used this gen for the first three years of the 360's lifespan. I bought all of those games too like the Condemned, Bioshock and others. You can't use the counter argument of exclusives in the same context as you do MS as far as PC exclusives are concerned such as Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Kotor1 &2, Jade Empire, Alan Wake, Minecraft, Divinity, Witcher 2....yes I've played them all on the Xbox and Xbox 360 . MS popularized taking PC exclusives to make up for their inadequate first party for two generations now. They screwed Sony gamers out of Gears of War, and oh yeah...if Sony were to ever get a timed exclusive on them you're screwed because their policy doesn't allow for late games.
