I'm pretty sure Reggie said that before the week was actually finished -- I interpreted it to mean that 3DS sales were quadrupled on a daily basis for a day or two, not on a weekly basis.

I interpreted it as "3DS sales have already sold 4x as much as last week" so it could sell even more.

Actually he was only talking about North America Hardware sales.

Plus Animal Crossing in stereoscopic 3D has only been out for 1 or 2 days in Europe by June 15. But that's a whole week in America, but only 1 or 2 days in Europe, plus Japan sales aren't effected by this, because they already got Animal Crossing 3D last year.

Yea, and in North America, sales did not increase 4x.
