Seems like it's all the rage this generation to bemoan the lack of unique and creative games coming out, but is the industry's love of copypasta really such a surprise in a world where Cauladoody sells a bazillion-jillion copies every years and Cauladoody, Too (aka Titanfall) is every media outlet's Game of E3?

So let's blast boredom and highlight some games that aren't getting so much love and maybe that also do things a little differently!

I'm personally pretty psyched for Doki-Doki Universe, an upcoming game from Greg Johnson (of ToeJam and Earl fame, not the fictional person spurgeonryan voted for for president).

It sounds like a truly one of a kind game: half puzzle game, half RPG, half personality quiz, half town building game, half man, half bear, and half pig. And a good chunk of the game will be free to play before you have to splash out any cash, which is just an added bonus. (Also, you can apparently soar amongst the stars on a flying piece of doo doo.)

So that's mine, but I'm going to cheat and throw out a special mention to another game while I'm at it: the delightfully twisted and Psychonauts-esque Stick it to the Man.

What unsung games tickle your fancies, doodz? Give me hope for this benighted industry!
