Who wants to see a Gartner projection for Windows growth?

basically, the esteemed firm Gartner is saying that Windows devices will grow about 11% from 2013 to 2014, which isnt bad at all.  If they can do this on a permanent basis, they should in fact win in the end, bc these things are marathon races, not sprints. 

Wait. So this is ALL windows devices? I was thinking just windows phones for some reason.

Also, you point out the 11% growth of Windows while ignoring the 22% for Android and 20% for Apple.

Which goes directly opposite of your statement and actually shows that they are going to continue to lose marketshare every year. I guess its good they are projecting an increase where they actually had a decrease last year.

Well, it depends on how you define growth, as I meant it in the OP, I was using growth in numbers of units, not actual market share.
