Sony is finally burying the Vita.
After ignoring it during E3, they now will turn it into a simple PS4 stream device.
It won't work well online, because the internet connections won't be able to handle it at all. The Vita is officially now a 200$ PS4 Gamepad who can run some of its own game. The difference being that games are designed for gamepad on Wii U while games are designed for dualshock on PS4.
The Vita is turning into an epic fail.
