I suspected that too. I was curious to see some reviews to find out, but its from the creators of the studio that made the bad spider-man games. It was unlikely they would manage to make something good this time around.
Also, you can take as a rule of thumb that a game that calls itself awesome (think back at the unveil trailer) before release, in rule, isnt.
