And if you've seen the tech demo, then why didn't you know PS Eye was required? Also, if you seen the demo, then why did you question the authenticity of it? Either you overlooked the video, or didn't watch it until now, and seeing as those are the only two plausible cases, why did you call it PR BS that's non-concrete other than to be a troll? |
Ok that video starts different from the first E3 video and annouces that the Eye is needed to play..so that is settled...then it takes off into the same E3 video where they show the view of the guy and then the girl on the couch with "actual PS4 footage' on the bottom of the screen which is PR BS...why not show what the game looks like on screen in stead of some BS video where your supposed to think it like virtual reality...Which lead to our orignal argument...
Here isa brakedown from your OP in the thread you talk about Play Room...
"Xbox Live and Motion Gaming were the big things of gaming last generation, however with motion gaming on the decline and PSN matching XBL with its features next gen, what do you guys think will be the next thing that'll provoke non-gamers and gamers to go out and buy a console?"
you claim Motion Gaming is on the decline...then
"I think it's going to be virtual reality headsets, or something similiar to the PSEYE."
For some strange reason you start to compare the PS Eye to Virtual Reality HeadSets when in reality the PS eye is closer to Kinect then Virtual reality Head Set....Which proves the PR BS from the Playroom Video worked on you cuz here you think that it's like virtual reality.....
"I remember before the PS4 was released there were rumors of it having something like an Omni-viewer headset with it, the idea was cool as fuck and I was generally excited. I figured it could be plausible if they went with weak hardware an a decent VR headset for around $500. Seeing as the oculus rift can afford to sell their 720P headsets at $300 and make a profit, I figured Sony could buy the parts in bulk for cheaper and make an equally good headset with the manufacturing cost at like $150 and go with like, 4GB DDR3, 7770 GPU, and a decent CPU, however Sony played it safe and I'm somewhat dissapointed, here's to hoping that Oculus Rift makes it to the PS4!"
Here you seem to be exited for these...
Then your OP Continues..
"I'm very excite to see what the PSEYE will be able to do, judging from the tech demo "Playroom" a creative dev can do some pretty fucking cool shit with it."
Where you call PlayRoom A techDemo your Self which proves that the annoucement video was after the E3 debut...
So there it is buddy a Stealth anoucement of a PSEye game does not make me a Troll becuase..This was a PR mishap By Sony not to annouce it as a Eye game at E3....
