All that extra power won't make 3rd party games look better on PS4 than Xbone.

Why would you think that when this whole generation it hasn't been true?

Just the existence of dev kits says you're wrong.

The new Dark Souls and Watchdogs both have PC as their lead platform. Since it's so easy to port to consoles now, I can't really see the downside of using PC as lead platform.

Then again, I'm not a developer.
