Tablet, multiplayer? Do you mean local or online? A tablet can do online multi.

A reason not to get is that you can get something that you can carry around which does the same things - and more. Tegra 3 tablets aren't expensive.

I have an iPad (that's what I'm posting from!) and I know it can do online multiplayer and plug into the T.V and stuff. I was referring to local multiplayer. If I can buy cheap multiplayer games for >$5 then it seems decent enough.

What is a Tegra 3? Can that do local T.V multiplayer?

lmao, ouya. No, It doesn't interest me in the slightest. I don't see much of a point of spending $100 on something to play tv mobile games with. If I really wanted to, aren't there cable to connect a tablet/smartphone to your tv too.

Off Topic: What's up with a gif in nearly every post you make? The gif normally has nothing to do with the discussion and doesn't add anything. Just wondering.

A Tegra 3 is a system on chip (think condensed computer hardware - CPU, GPU, Northbridge, etc all in one chip) on which A LOT of droid tablets are based. The Ouya is also Tegra 3 based.

Local multi is indirectly connected to it. Local multi needs hardware power, but of course, it's not required if you lower graphics and such. IIRC there's no local multiplayer with tablets.
