I think the moderation on this site is great. Most video game sites are filled with rude, negative and mean comments to the extent that there's barely anything else.
This forum has a fair amount of "bad" posts and posters, but it's a lot better than most others due to the harsh moderating.
People who are upset about being banned "over nothing" aren't really banned over nothing. They're (mostly) walking a line of making jokes at others' expense, which really isn't a nice thing to do. It can be amusing when done right, but it can be downright mean when it's not.
If you're nice to other people, and think your posts through, you won't get banned. It's really very simple.
