Actually I'm playing it atm and it's not remotely as polished as the other games in the series. I wouldn't be surprised if Compile targeted lower sales on purpose.
That said, Tsutaya is probably not representative since a lot of fans will prefer indies shop in Akihabara or the likes (Atelier Meruru+ was a lot higher in MC than in Tsutaya iirc)
