If there's no incentive for third parties to enhance the PS4 version of their games, then they won't. That however, doesn't mean the PS4 is unable to provide better visuals with its better hardware, you'll simply not see it when comparing third party games very often.
However 1st party games and other exclusives will provide visuals clearly superior to the one Xbones.
I mean, in my opinion Killzone: Shadowfall and INfamous: Second Son look vastly superior to the games I've seen on Xbone.
Forza does look good, however with the quality of racing games last gen, it was nothing really that astounding in my opinion as racers aren't quite photo-realistic enough for my tastes. Ryse is a Crytek game so of course it was visually stunning, however I still prefer Shadowfall's visuals over it as well as Second Son's, I mean for an open world game it looks simply stunning.
