Nintendo really overestimated the power of their ips with Nintendo Land. Sure, throw all of our biggest franchises in a single game, and it will sell like gangbusters! What they didn't realize is that it is the gameplay that sells games, not simply characters. And while Nintendo Land does have moments of fun gameplay, it is nowhere near as fun and interesting as Wii Sports was.
