Except Kamiya has far more talent than anyone that worked on Star Fox Adventures and Assault. Look at Okami, Bayonetta, Viewtiful Joe and Wonderful 101.

Really now?
Donkey Kong Country, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Pac Man, Tekken, Soul Calibur. These are just a few games from both developers that had a bigger impact in this industry and are far more recognisable than all of the games you mentioned. I have no problem if Platinum Games develops the next SF but what i don't get is why doesn't Nintendo EAD create a new StarFox game themselves. They gave us StarFox 64 a great game that sold pretty good so why give it out to other devs? Adventures was a great game but not a true SF game, Assault was pretty dissapointing and actually inferior to Adventures in many aspects and Command was just mediocre very to close to bad imo.
I think Nintendo should finally pick up titles like StarFox, F-Zero and Metroid and try something new themselves.

None of those are intense action games. Platinum is known for them and Star Fox can be a really good one. Donkey Kong Country is a platforming franchise, GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark are FPS games, Pac Man is a puzzle game and Tekken/SoulClaibur are fighting games. Again, NONE of them are intense action games like Star Fox.

I never said these games were actiony i'm saying these games are proof of how talented both Rare and Namco were those days. Also none of the games you mentioned are on rails which is what StarFox is (or was) really about.
