Is piracy consumer rights? I bet you want DRM on 3ds because of this.

Im assuming he was joking. If not though blocking a flashcard in no way infringes on gamers rights. The only people who buy these things are the people who will never ever pay for a game, thus hurting the very companies they "support".

I'm pretty sure he was mocking people that were pro "DRMless" XB1

You are wrong. My comment has nothing to do with xbone. I was mocking all the pirates who use consumers rights as an excuse to modify consoles and then claim that they didn't have piracy in mind when they modified the console (ps3, 360, psp, ds etc, but mostly ps3 and linux). Even if that's truly not their primary purpose, they know damn well that their actions leave those consoles open to piracy. While I do use emulators myself (for games about 20 years old), I still hate video game piracy with passion, considering how cheap most games are available for nowadays (especially pc games through steam).

I hope this works for Ninty for the sake of the developers.
