I agree with this, Nintendo has stated that they dont want to show off games too early anymore so the whole point of this E3 was to show games slated for this Holiday and the first half of 2014. Im sure they have alot of games in development that they could have shown but felt it would be better to save them for a Direct or E3 next year. |
I'm sure spending 12mins on the 3DS wouldn't hurt anysome. Anyways that wasn't really my arguement.
I wasn't saying Nintendo should of held back announcements from their previous directs, I was just sayin having a Nintendo Direct instead a press conference diflated the power of their showing this E3. Ultmately I think its the way in which they present titles that is holding them back, games like X, Beyonetta and Wonderful 101 should have been presented better, because its only after i stumbed across a few E3 demo's that I started getting excited for the latter 2. X could be a show stopper based on its scale alone but they need to demo it and make people go WOW. They can't keep treating games like Smash bros and Mario with the most priority, sure they'll sell systems but they are also known quantities. They need to push the newer IPs which they are releasing in the next year or so.
