I can affirm to you threre are more people that speaks English than Spanish and in both case is the minority.

We didn't learn any other language at high-school, college or anything else... it is necessary to make extra courses that the majority of the population didn't have money to pay.

This research below says only 5% of the population is fluent in English but 36% have some kind of skill in English (like to just access internet or talk in chats/forums)... Spanish is way less than that.
