Interesting idea. I wonder if Sony would want to keep Gaikai "exclusive" to PS4, and Vita, at least for some time. I mean, we still don't know how it's gonna really work, will there be new games' releases there, or only for providing "backwards compatibility" of sorts?
If it would be the former, let's say PS4 games would also get gaikai releases with possible better graphics if you have sufficent enough internet connection. So pretty much what Onlive was(is?) that you can have a old ass computer and play the latest games on it if internet allows.
If that would be the case then of course I don't see them doing it, cause that would be undercutting the PS4, and cannibalising its sales. But if it would be the latter, then it seems like a good idea. It would be pretty much a shell, that comes up let's say some hardware required for streaming, and enough to get the UI smooth, not even the PS3's actual hardware, with two controllers, that could stream all the library of the PS3.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!
