Well its a smart decision to bring out new models as it usually means that the console is cheaper to manufacture. So if they were to keep the price the same they make even more money...
But... i do expect the price of the PS3 to decrease, but i expect that to happen before/at games com. I cant see them waiting till the PS4 launch to announce a PS3 price reduction.
