Well Arc System Works was the one who initiated the petition (I guess to gauge the core's reaction to the game on the Wii U) so I guess they will if enough gamers sign it.  In any case, running UE 3 which the console currently uses makes the porting process a lot easier and could end up as an eShop download (like FotNS) if it falls a little shy of it's goal.
