If you look around at Saint Seiya videos on youtube, you'll see lots and lots of Spanish comments. Maybe that convinced Namco? :P

Saint Seya was dubbed in Spanish and realeased in Spain shortly after the Japanesse Debut it really took off and is actually bigger than it's then TV rival Dragon Ball...It's still pretty big in Spain...In the early 90's it was released in south america and was also a huge win for them....
