I can't remember specifically what it said, but a male surgeon (probably the same one that pulled the scalpel on Joel) recorded a message that said something along the lines of :"we tested on other infected, but she's one of a kind. This could be mankind's greatest achievement since the discovery of penicillin". (something like that) They didn't mention that there were others that were immune- so yes it was a total lie on Joel's part. But even saying that, there was no guarantee they would've found a cure from Ellie anyways. For all we knew they could've killed Ellie and lost the one chance they had a cure. And She definitely knew Joel was lying- why would she even ask a question like that. |
Yeah, that is what I remember too, like all other things along this genre they had been doing experiments on infected, not on immune people
