You misunderstand me a bit I think. Yes, Mario 3D World and DK were not what I would have preferred to see. But having said that, I most likely AM going to get Mario, as it looks fun to me regardless. DKC, we'll see. It certainly looks better than DKCR, and actually pressing a button to roll can only be a good thing. It's not what I would have WANTED out of Retro, but neither is a new Metroid Prime. So I've accepted the fact that they're making a pretty solid looking new DKC game, and am moving on.
I do want some of the games they showed. I absolutely am getting Mario, Mario Kart, Pikmin, and Smash Bros. I am very interested in Wonderful 101 and will at least check out Sonic: Lost World. There is a chance if I can afford them, I might get them both. DKC I'll at least play at a friends house, and again, if I actually like it, I just might get it when I am able. Surely a few games I would have preferred to have announced, like Star Fox or Wave Race, were not shown. But I also understand that those games have a better chance of getting made, if the "big hitters" they are releasing and have shown off already, sell well, which they should. The games they showed and are releasing that we know about, are the ones with the greatest chance to help reignite Wii U sales, and better Wii U sales give us a greater chance of some of those other games we want, of ever happening. If the Wii U fails, we certainly won't see any of them.
So if people want to see some of those other games ever get made, it would behoove them to support the Wii U.
