..or saved it from a crash and burn.

Innovation does not equal market reception. Xbox One model may have crashed and burned, but it was different. This industry has been in a stalemate for at least 4 years now. The Xbox One model may not have been the game changer...but it had a chance to be. Now we are just maintaining the status quo.

Also if we look around on this site at the people who were most vocal about this...can we really say that your statement is true? People pushing this agenda are not really the biggest Xbox supporters now or before the reversal.

Bonkers is going to buy it and he literally buys every single game that releases. Some of the others like NobleTeam and Wick have jumped ship too. Similiar sentiment is there on gaf and other threads. People are giving it a consideration now. The bad PR was not just hurting the XBOX brand but entire company. So this reversal really helps them. Also they said the 10 family sharing plan won't be availble at launch. So it might come back and would be a good incentive for people who want to buy digital copies.

They should make the digital content appealing for people by offering more for lower price and than expect people to ease into digital. Not the other way around.
