As they old saying goes If you throw a frog into a pot of boiling water, he’ll jump out. But if you place a frog into a pot of lukewarm water and slowly turn up the heat, it will boil to death. And so it is with inflation.
That's actually not true. In reality, the frog jumps out once the water reaches an uncomfortable temperature, which is long before it boils. Once a company's policies reach a certain level of discomfort, the consumer also jumps out. Which is what happened here.
Anyone who thinks a vocal minority of anyone killed this thing is deluding himself. People hated this shit and wouldn't buy the Xbone, and dismal preorder numbers forced Microsoft's hand. Period.
