Not wrong! If it gets a big cut like that I might not even bother to wait!

They should be able to do a big cut by then, it will be 1 1/2 years after launch, alot of quality exclusives coming the end of this year/early next year will surely cause software sales to spike pretty big so even if its taking a loss with a $100 cut, the software should offset it.
