No need to drop kinect... the whole system was built with Kinect in mind and also having it bundled with every system allows developers to be able to use it in unique ways in games and in applications.  The new Kinect is much more powerful and more high tech than the original anyway.

up until earlier today we were also told that the whole system was built around this DRM and when angry joe suggested to Major Nelson that surely this was very easy to change their mind on Major Nelson snapped the mic from his hand and yelled at joe saying that He didn't know anything and unless he was on microsoft staff or working on the system he should shut up and not suggest it was easy to 180 on anything to do with the system or it's policys. Don't believe everything you see in a press release, apparently it turns out that if you reply to a middle finger with one right back then some change can happen.
