it's not so much about them selling to the military or the share of the market, Microsoft in the past donated a massive amount of xbox360 hardware and software for the american troops fighting abroad so that in bases in Iraq etc they could have some home comforts there with them when they had time off. It's just bad for PR when you can't really give troops a console which is going to get homesick too when you take it abroad :D
