Professor Layton or Pokemon?

I bought Pokemon, and I have put about 10 hours into it already. I got mad at running into all the Pokemon in the grass all the time, so I threw the DS across the room, and the game froze. I turned the DS off, and when I turned it back on, the game was running at like half the speed that it was before. Hopefully it will start working again eventually, but for now, I'm fed up with that game.
