In my opinion? Not really, but "fans" and seemingly the Devs themselves keep thinking they are so I guess by definition. They are!
Way I see it, only time something should considered a rival is if they are coming out on the same console and/or within a close period of time to each other.
e.g 1-3 weeks.
PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.
