I noticed that the games listed in the OP were solely from Ubisoft (Watch Dogs; Assassin's Creed; Rayman; Splinter Cell) & Warner Bros. (Batman).

They have other reasons to want the Wii-U to do well. I presume Ubisoft think it's the most viable platform for Just Dance to be a success; and Warner Bros. want it to be the best for Scribblenauts/LEGO games.

Therefore, I don't think third party support from these two is going to dry up in general. For the cost of porting and probably at least recouping their costs, it's worth releasing these games just in case it grows the install base a small amount for their other titles.

So I don't think it's going to do a lot for other third-party support unless they really, really sell gangbusters. Rayman will do well because there's already a fanbase who like 2D platformers on the system. I can't see Creed or Splinter Cell doing well. Watch Dogs might, and I don't really have much idea how Batman will do.
