But I'm looking forward to what other innovations they decide to bring forward to the Mario Kart franchise. |
What was the anti-gravity like in Crash Nitro Kart and what was wrong with it? I think the anti-gravity put to great use in MK8. In first track, the anti-gravity makes up much of the main course, giving you the whole "omg I'm upside down!" wow factor. Just a visual gimmick here, but a great one nonetheless. In the second track, it gives access to an alternative route along the walls, which is more favorable than the main one. In the third, it combines it's uses from the previous two tracks. The anti-gravity doesn't alter the core gameplay, a good thing I might add, but it does give the tracks more depth, or atleast make them more visually pleasing.
