Some areas, as in the starting area only. There's literally no where else you could pull it off effectively in the three tracks that were demo'ed, and even at the starting area, you'll only be able to get a few boost. Oh, and that last part about tricks, I believe that has always been the case. They could patch it up some before MK8 releases though. |
Snaking is possible in the second track, I've seen it. Plus there's a downhill section in it so wide that it should be viable there as well.
The tricks have always been like this, but it's one of those not-so-obvious things for the average gamer. |
Alright well like I said, there's no way Nintendo will allow snaking to be advantageous in the final game just like they did with Wii and 7 so there's nothing to worry about.
