Cancelled, possibly, but i think that would be dumb on Activision's part. Ghosts on Wii U is at least guaranteed to do a little better than Blops II, and since they've already done engine porting work, it would be silly not to pull the trigger if they've already done the work. It would, at least, pay for itself and probably bring in some money on the side

With Rayman, it was an issue of Microsoft's demands against late ports. With Crysis, it's EA being EA. Both issues are not at play here.

Perhaps. At the same time, I don't know what up-front costs are involved in bringing this sort of product to market. Production, packaging, and shipping, obviously, but there may be other factors. And really, if they can expect their game to bring in something like 20 million units between Sony and Microsoft systems, is it really worth their time to release it on a platform that will probably show them about one-hundredth of that?

As far as Rayman goes, I thought that was rumored/debunked?

If it brings in profit, even at a paltry 200,000 sales, it is worth it.

The question would be "is that money better spent on more promotion/DLC for the other versions?" But when you've already made the game, it just makes more sense to commit.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
