The fact is the difference won't be used to any meaningful degree the multiplats will look and run pretty much the same on both platforms , you may get scenarios like game A runs well on PS4 but needs a little bit more effort to run the same on XBone .
It's not like one console stood still while the other moved way ahead even now we hear people say they don't see a huge difference between gen 7 to 8 , compared to the gen before , there are factors involved as to why this is so and those same factors also affect how much what ever difference there is between new consoles actually shows up on screen.
