Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is a remake, ZombiU is pretty much the Red Steel of the Wii U except better. The PS2 was also killing the competition back then. The pS4 will sell more than the Wii U, but it's not gonna kill it, because back then the PS2 had a DVD player and got a huge push from Sony. Those are pretty believeable numbers. |
I'm not saying it isn't believable, just optimistic. It seems odd to assume that the Wii U will do better than the Gamecube when it has been doing worse. Yes, it is missing some games, but those games didn't give the Gamecube amazing sales. And yes, the Gamecube had to go up against the PS2, but the Wii U has to go against PS360 and PS4/XB1. These are two consoles that are known to consistently outsell the Wii U and two that are unknown quantities. It could go either way right now, but these estimates seem to be the scenario where everything goes right for the Wii U.
