why spend money in online development and online servers if most/all ppl will still buy this game like sliced bread. |
Ask that question about Mario Kart, Mario Strikers, Pokemon, and the dozens of other franchise's that went online. Again, online play can only help sales as it makes any game a more worthwhile buy due to it's increased replayability and multiplayer options. Basically it'll more people happy, like me! Super Mario Cats was a definite buy for me after playing it, but then I saw this thread and now I'm not so sure as it'll just suffer the same fate as every Mario platformer other than Sunshine, which is once I beat the game, I'll never touch it again.
