slowmo said: Its the complete opposite, haters are making shit up to make the console seem less attractive. Talk of turning activation servers off after 10 years, supposed hardware issues because of the size of the console, only focusing on the negatives of DRM and not the benefits, downplaying all exclusives and making out they're just timed with ZERO evidence to show otherwise, claiming high end PC's were used to make all XBO games look better on the basis on one picture from one third party and anecdotal evidence of a crash. Then there are all the threads quoting twitter from Xbox support trying to twist normal customer service responses to questions its clear they don't have all the answers too into them somehow not caring or to downplay features. This forum is riddled with Sony fanboys behaving as above but you somehow seem blind to it, wonder why? |
This is the thing though, it's not the Sony users that is making the XboxOne less attractive, its MS and its policies.
I really wish we could get past this Fanboy vs Fanboy thing, its unlikely but i wish we could. Theres a reason for MS bashing right now... they screwed up, and their policies and messaging are all kinds of wrong. I think the easy option is to blame Fanboys, but on the whole its a large proportion of the gaming community that are up in arms about this. Now considering that Xbox 360/Ps3 have sold about the same, i think that tells you all you need to know... i.e that its not just Sony users that are upset.
I know a few people who were Xbox 360 pro all the way this gen, they had a Ps3 but the normal "Switch it on for uncharted" type thing. This time they are going straight to PS4. Just because of the policies of MS.
Perhaps you don't care what MS is doing, and perhaps you are already still getting an XboxOne, so i can understand you are probably upset that they are getting alot of anger right now. But dont be so misguided to think this is all because of Sony fans/fanboys.
