I had this problem when I got Burnout Paradise. I was trying to save money, so I imported the game from Singapore and saved myself ~£10. I really enjoyed the game, but for some reason the copies are incompatible any DLC I tried to buy...

I can't say I understand the need for all these restrictions and they all get really complicated with these online stores and their region limits. What happens if someone moves country?

Anyway, I'm sorry you got screwed... I would say get a bigger hard drive, but some saves can't be copied and have to be transferred directly, so that might not work either

As I will be getting PSN+ for when PS4 comes out I may get PS+ early so that I can cloudsave everything, then I can back-up the HDD and swap out for a bigger one. But that still means forking out money I'd rather not spend on PS+ and a HDD. So I'm not going to go there until I actually feel an unavoidable need.

In terms of Asia vs Europe it might come down to the incompatibility of PAL vs NTSC. Though I'm not sure how game data can't be compatible on the one hand, but on the other hand an out of region game itself will play no problems.

I've never imported from Play Asia, but many games are listed with US, EU and Asia versions.

I think + saves act as a back up rather than a store, if you wanted to do that, then an external hard drive would be the best way. It's probably not worth it

That is the thing, the game is perfectly playable, you would think there would be some way to match the 2 together. I got mine from ebay, so I knew that I was getting a different region, I just didn't worry about it
