I'd love to take my games into the next gen. It was a letdown when sony cancelled it for PS3 and I still think it is a shame.
However, backwards compatibilty is just a very very minor issue. It doesn't keep people from buying new gen consoles. The lack of BC has even made numerous companies a considerable amount of money by rereleasing their games.
So, the least of the reasons for Microsoft to implement DRM will be for you to take your games with you the next gen.
Not having to stand up just because you want to switch a game isn't that big a deal, or is it?
If you want to talk positive about the Xboxone, go talk games, go talk features like skyping while playing.
Or surprise me with a different stance that proves their DRM to be positive for consumers.
