Lets bring some light into the whole PSP and PSP Go fiasco. You bought a game for PSP. Sony releases the PSP Go which is digital only. Shit hit the fan when people found out that they couldn't convert their games over to PSP Go. You had to repurchase the digital version. Wouldn't it have been nice if Sony anticipated this from the start. Made a way so that if you bought a physical copy, you would automatically get a digital copy too?

I think this also happened with the PSP - Vita transition. I agree with everything you posted

What if...
You missed a rare game, and can't find it in stores - ebay is your only choice. But, no used games unless it's a participating retalier - ebay is not even in retail.
What if...
XB1 ends its life and servers for authentication and cloud features get taken down. How are you gonna play any game? Or a game needing cloud processing?

There's quite a lot of flaws with this. And frankly... laziness in not wanting to get up is not a valid positive point. I mean, come on. You're not lifting weights.

The same thing could happen to PS+ afters years of paying for free games, you might lose them. It could also happen to steam, and no one talks shit about them :)
