This is a really important aspect of the ecuation. As 3d did for the 3DS, the gamepad is driving up the Wii U price. When Nintendo gave the 3DS a $80 pricecut, they removed the price barrier that the 3d screen gave to the market. They need to do the same with the Wii U, remove the price barrier that the gamepad represents and have a stream of good games coming to the system.
