Unless this next Halo game is equivalent to ODST or Reach and the real Halo 5 will actually come after this one.

I would imagine that this will have multiplayer even if it's not a proper numbered Halo 5.  Both ODST and Reach had multiplayer.  

Well they are quite different things. ODST was just a campaing with firefight. Reach had a proper multiplayer campaign (though I am assured that it ruined everything), but that would have been numbered if it featured Master Cheif
