I read your answer and I'm telling you your wrong.  Theprof gave you a similar explanation and example as I was planning too so I won't go much further. Having two situations, regardless of a similar consequence(A consequence based on your opinion), does not make them the same.

Time will tell, but I would be you are incorrect. The reason for creating a virtual economy is to make money, not at all unlike the F2P model. It's not a question of opinion to me but suit yourself.

I actually made a mistake with my claims, you did try to answer, sorry about that.  I was just about to correct that in my post.  But like I said, you're wrong and dodging.  Auction House != DRM.  You called Sony fans hypocrites because they're complaining about DRM and Sony is now doing the same thing.  Theprof asked you how Auction House = DRM.  Then you go on a rant about how Sony is trying to make money by monetizing digital goods and Microsoft did it too.  That's completely dodging the question by answering it wrong.  Even now you're not explaining how DRM, which restricts users goods, is the same as an auction house, which  gives users a chance to monetize their goods.
