It's nothing new between executives from Sony and Nintendo (the japanese ones at least, Tretton and Reggie are rather douchy) I remember guys from Nintendo praising the Vita as a great piece of tech, Yoshida had a Wii U very early and also had warm words towards the console.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
