Yet consumers speak louder with their wallets.. did Itunes music failed because of the DRM? Are people complaining they can't sell their smartphone apps? did Sim City not sell 1.5 million copies? Did we stop buying games with online passes? How is steam doing when we can't sell our steam games? Don't people use software like Adobe Creative Cloud.. which is a monthly subscription for the Photoshop software? We also didn't want to pay for multiplayer 10 years ago..
MS is pretty right when they say In a broader set of community, people don't pay attention to a lot of the details..
